In 2010, the Arnold B. Galperin award was established by Rotary District 6990 and the Galperin Family in honor of the distiguished life of service and dedication by this life-long Rotarian. Arnold passed away in 2009 and was an active member of the Rotary Club of Miami.
The award is given to a Rotarian in District 6990 who has shown a lifetime of dedication to Rotary International and the district. The award is selected by the current District Governor after consultation with the family, and traditionaly awarded at the District Assembly held in the Spring of the Rotary Year.
