The search for candidates that might ultimately become World Peace Fellows from District 6990 falls to the Educational Grants and Scholarships Sub-Committee of the Distict Rotay Foundation Committee.
District 6990 is very fortunate to have found such a talented individual some years ago in Karla Castellanos, a former Ambassadorial Scholar from D6990, who completed a two-year term (2004-2006) at the Rotary World Peace Center located in the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. When she graduated, she joined an elite global group of individuals: Rotary World Peace Fellows.
